Bromeliads found growing in the Columbian Andes . I would like to identify the species. (9000f/3000m elevation). close to the snowline

   Without a better picture, my first guess would be that they are one of the Yuccas, not a bromeliad

   Looks like those plants are growing *in* soil though.

   I’m thinking it’s something in the Puya genus, maybe P. goudotiana but I can’t really see it very well.

   Edit. Also, colombian.
