The Gunny Community Garden and Hub, developed over ten years by Canvey Island Big Local and partners, is now open and run by Trust Links.
The site features therapeutic Growing Together gardens, a community building, outdoor gym, play area, and accessible green spaces designed to boost wellbeing and bring people together.
Trust Links is encouraging residents to join their Growing Together programme or volunteer to help with gardening, tree planting, site maintenance, and community events.
Weekly sessions run every Monday from 9:30am to 3:30pm.
Two volunteer drop-in sessions will be held at The Gunny on October 27 and November 3, from 10am to 3pm.
A spokesman for Trust Links said: “Whether you have green fingers or just want to lend a hand, there’s a role for everyone.”
