I make videos of my Free Mow Fridays on my main channel @timthelawnmowerman I also review lawn and garden equipment on my @turfandtools channel.
If you like watching transformations of yards you may find these videos satisfying to watch.
How you doing? Do you need some help? Have you heard of Freo Fridays? Or you haven’t? Freo Fridays. I make videos cleaning up overgrown lawns. Oh, I have seen. You have seen it? Yes. Do you want your lawn done or? Yes, please. Yeah. Yeah. You got a big yard. I know. Let me pull up. Okay. Lots of grass. It’s stringy grass. This is called kuyu. Is it? Yes. Yeah. And uh it’s very resilient. Doesn’t take long to get this height either. The back looks a lot worse obviously. Okay. How long you been here? 22 years. Oh god. Okay. Yeah. You not trying to move to a smaller block or something? It looks like a lot to maintain. I know cuz I’m got like bad back and that too. I can’t do anything. So who normally does it though? Someone obviously does it every now and then. Just random people. Like you just call someone up try and find someone cheap. It is a lot of work. Like I do it at no cost, but that’s cuz I make videos. That’s the only reason I can do it. But it’s I’ve got a helper that comes and helps me, so I got to pay him. I take away the waste as well. Like a lot of people will just slash it down and leave all the grass, but we bag it up. We get rid of it. And yeah, makes a big difference. So, but it is a lot of work and that’s why you get big quotes like that. So, as much as you’re like, “Oh, they’re being They’re quoting me too much.” It’s a lot of work. Yeah. I’m a single like I’m only on job seeker, so I don’t get much. Yeah. Okay. Um, how do I get out the back? Back gate done. Okay, let me have a look. It’s nice and open. At least this is a nice change for me. Normally, we get uh very poor access. Yeah, this has had a slash and dash done last time for sure. Greg and I are going to love this. You know what I love about you? There’s no junk. Oh, I’m not a junk. There’s no junk around at all. It’s just grass, which makes it This is easy for me. There’s There’s no amount of grass that scares me. Yeah, it’s once you get all the the junk in there that it becomes a problem. But I’m a really good cleaner. Yeah, my house is spotless. Lovely. Love to hear. That’s all right. I’m lucky I get to do it. I don’t just looked you up. Yeah. Okay. Sponsor the channel for some videos. So, that covers my cost for a lot of things cuz as I said, it is a lot of work. Yeah. But people like watching the cleanups. Uh they like watching me find these places. So, I know it works for everyone. My viewers get a video, you get a clean up. He’s a lovely person. the work that you do is so appreciated. Ah, thank you. That’s very nice of you to say. But I messaged you a long time ago. So, and then still, yeah, well, I get that many messages. I I try and get back to as many as I can. I’ve got an auto bounce back where I ask for photos and that sort of thing because I get so many um requests from people, can you come and help me? And then I have this back and forth with them and it’s like, oh, where are you? And they’re in another state or something. So, my auto bounceback says where I am that I can travel, you know, half an hour from there and please provide, you know, pictures of the the yard and that makes it easier. What made you come to Le Park? Uh, I actually came to have a look at another one today. I did and then I was just driving past and saw you guys. Yeah. Gave it a sneaky little look and I’m like, I’m going back for that nice big open yard because I live on the corner too. Yeah. Yeah. This is honestly this is a killer block to maintain. I don’t know how you do it. Thank you so much. I really appreciate. Not a problem at all. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Here [Music] we go. Heat. [Applause] [Applause] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] [Music] The hot water systems are generally one of the more annoying things to trim around because you’ve got obviously got the power there like that is just asking for trouble. It’s barely better than an extension cord. Um quite often you’ll have something like that. A dripping tab around them makes it all wet. makes it grow even better. Um, yeah. So, they especially when it’s coy, it just grows around it and it’s just it’s just a battle. It’s part of the job that one of the parts that uh is not my favorite, I would say. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Applause] [Music] [Music] All right, that is the backyard done. Hope you enjoyed watching. That was more work than we expected for the style of backyard, but it looks a lot better. We have the front yard coming up next week. There is a 15 km of path edging to do out there. So, or 26 mi if you’re uh that way inclined. really appreciate you guys watching because without you guys, I can’t do this. If you do want to support the channel, all you got to do is subscribe. It costs nothing. Press that subscribe button. Make sure you check out next week’s video. It’s going to be a cracker. And we actually started on the week after’s video today as well. So, um, lots to come. [Music] [Applause] [Music]

Kikuyu is very fast growing! We’re in Australia and have mainly buffalo grass! I don’t like kikuyu and wh😅we were younger I would spend time pulling it out!
👍🙌🙏❤️.
Lol. Lalor Park, Western Sydney. Soooo many poor renters. Soooo many neglected yards. Some, and not some, worthy of your help.
What I find very sad about such properties is that there's just a couple of women??? living inside a 3-4 br brick house on 1/2 an acre with a monstrous unused back yard — all of which could support a 6 person family, a great work shed, a bungalow, vegie garden, fruit trees, kids play space, etc.
This situation exemplifies Australian cities' shit housing situation where THOSE women should be in small public housing where they don't have to be burdened by property maintenance they can't do, and so that a working income family of 6 could love and use THAT property for their "Great Australian Dream". It's just fkn mad.
If it's a private owner, they and their R/E agent just profit off life's unfortunates, or maybe the Public Housing Dept has no smaller places anymore. It's all fkn politics and monetary policy.
❤❤❤
You make these cleanups look so easy but we know how much work it takes! Great work guys!!
Sorry I won’t be watching anymore. This was the first time I saw one of your videos. I don’t like the fast motion. There’s nothing relaxing about it. I might as well just run it all fast-forward through because that you don’t really get to see a lot. Sorry.
Just started my mowing for the fire season on Yorke Peninsular, did a bit for the old fellow across the road first then cleaned up the front of a nieghbour that I went to school with half a centuary ago and got about a third of my blocks done, I do enjoy mowing you can see what you have done and it gives great satisfaction. Have a good day.
One hopes for every district everywhere good people and businesses get behind this sort of thing.
GOOD JOB TIM❤❤❤❤❤
My favorite quote at the moment, “be curious, not judgmental” and you do just that. These are people who are often victims of circumstance and the way you treat them with dignity and respect brings as much joy as the process and end result for me
