So my wasabi update is not so good this week. Of the two plants i had left, looks one developed some root rot. I dont think it will be salvageable even though it still has leaves. The ribosome is almost completely rotted through.

I still have one going strong so will see if i can keep it going.

Im not sure why this one rotted, the ribosome is quite a bit above the water, but looks like it aligns with the top of my hydroton.

I Dont think dosing it in H2O2 will help at this point.

  1. Happened to most of my wasabi plants eventually, you could try to replant it in soil; a couple of mine we did that with survived and are now growing quite well and healthy. But yeah, Wasabi is a tricky plant. I think ebb-and-flow is the easiest/most suitable system to grow em in, since they seem to drown/get root rot easily.
