Maybe? Maybe not. Zone 4b and just had the sprinklers blown out. Hadn’t been running the system for a couple weeks, but lows have been in the 30s and 40s. Still going to have to mow and mulch the leaves as the trees are loaded in the backyard yet. What’s the best final mow height before the snow flies?

I like the rock borders! Is maintenance hard with them? Weeds or grass growing into the beds?
Seems a bit too high right now, I slowly drop mine to 2-3” a few weeks before the first frost. Btw, she thicccc..

As you mow to mulch over the next few weeks, bring the height down to 2”. You want 3.5”-4” in the summer, 3” in the Fall and 2” for winter dormancy. Then back up to 3” for Spring.
