five years of sharing home projects on the internet and it was this one that had me questioning whether we should just hire out. Not only were we working against the existing slope of our backyard, but we decided to complicate things and add a waterfall and a stream to the pond that would divert the water to run in two different locations. Very advanced project for two beginners. Finally, we picked up momentum. We were placing each boulder with nothing but arm strength and the occasional help from our tractor until 10 p.m. when Andrew hit this pose. Now, this pose doesn’t happen often, but when it does, buckle up because that man is stressed. And I’m sure you can guess what happens next. We painstakingly took it all apart and started over. I know this episode was a hard project and a harder watch. One of us even ends up crying. But he was confident we could do better. And if that man knows anything, it’s carpentry, which has nothing to do with this project. But he does know good things take time. And hey, only crying once during this build is pretty

  9. Sabrina rocking Andrew at the end..😂 ❤ the work you 2 do together. I fully understand the frustration of getting so far and then starting over😢 but the end result is always worth it!!

  10. Never hire out! But next time you think you should get a quote. Then it will probably be so stupidly expensive that you'll be more motivated to push through.

  11. That pond looks absolutely awesome. You might’ve had a few headaches here and there, but my gosh, what a beautiful yard. Tons of work, it almost gives me a sore back watching it, but in the end, it is absolutely amazing. You need to take some time off and enjoy it. You are an inspiration to a generation of young people like yourselves. Take a boring run of the mill house and make it a fantastic beautiful home. Inside and out.

  12. I hope you vacation in the UK someday and share some opportunities to work with folks who do dry stone walling. The rock placement is important and to your taste as well. Glad you did not give up!

  13. Y’all are great. Love your channel. Girl I wish my hubby and I could work together like y’all do. A inspiration to all couples. Can’t wait for the next project.

  14. I know hindsight is 20 20, but if you guys would have dumped all that dirt first, then dug your waterfall/stream into it, it would have been a dream…or dreamier

  15. I've only seen one of your video's, but I'm pretty sure I know who ended up crying.. poor man. The shot at the end of you holding him was very sweet
