I’ve had this maidenhair for over a year, it’s the first one I’ve been able to keep alive and THRIVING ever. I’ve gone through about 6 of these over the years and they all died because I let them dry out. I usually put her in the bathtub if I’m going away but I forgot toast weekend when I was away for 3 days… came home and she was CRISPY. So sad. Heartbreaking. NOOOOOOO. But I gave her a massive hair cut and even just a week later check out all the new growth ❤️

Can you explain “put her in the bathtub?” From one maidenhair fern fan to another. Mine only do ok in terrariums.

They do return with a vengeance. Been there.

I had one 18” across, it died back to TWO fronds, and now it’s back to 18+” across. They are quick to die but also so resilient at rebuilding

Am a serial killer when it comes to Madienhairs. I am sure they have a lookout for me in their part of the world 🙁 Have never been able to grow them and this plant is on top of my must haves. The irony 💔
