I was so excited to find this begonia ferox at a local nursery, on sale for $17.99, especially in person and at that price. Another wish list plant checked off.
Oh, and also the nepenthes. That’s going to be a winter project to revive. It’s only sitting in water right now because it was bone dry at the nursery. (Don’t worry, I’ve got a lot of experience with carnivorous plants.) And the begonia spitfire, that one was an impulse purchase.

Thank you for saving the nepenthes. My local grocery store, in the middle on nowhere in the desert, got in like 2 dozen fly traps. I guarantee they all died, it bummed me out so bad.
