Repotted today, should I cover the circled area with soil? It was underneath soil in the previous pot but just noticed it.

   I can’t really tell what is it, but maybe someone else has a recommendation. I just came on to say that the pot seems a little oversized for the size of the plant.

   1 – anything below the soil should remain there

   2- this pot is way too big
