It’s creeping into my yard from the neighbor’s. The pod and beans are very firm and thick. What is it?

    Wisteria.

If it is velvety to the touch, it is the invasive chinese wisteria.

If it is the invasive, take the seed pods and dispose of them. Place them in some plastic bags and throw away.

Anything but allowing them to sprout.

Wisteria chinensis most likely, depending on where you’re at it can be invasive

    Wisteria – DO NOT EAT.

(Like mushrooms – Do not eat any beans unless you know they are edible)
