Another day at the West Norwood garden project!
Today was the day to finish the brick wall out the front which connects to the piers, then start getting some limestone paving down!!
We had some tricky cuts to do within this patio and we’ll be doing an amazing feature around the olive tree!!
Stay tuned for that and more!!

And we’re back at the West Norwood job. I got L’s to finish the wall off. I said, “Go on, my son. You can do it.” I said, “Before you start, put the old DPM down. Makes it nice and tidy.” Didn’t listen, did he? Wall looks naughty, though. And then I showed him a little tip. Tip of the day. Before you get to the end, space them all out. Mark them so you have no epoxy little sliver. And let’s quickly send that invoice off to old Ron Dog. Come on, son. Pay up. Sort. And then it was time for him to put the old tip into place. them in. Lovely jobly. And while he was doing that, I was cracking on with the paving. Dijon limestone 600 by 900 tumbled. These are very popular at the moment. I got these ones from Mandarin Stone. I also used them in my last job as well. And they’re nice and bulky. 30 mil thick. Beautiful. Once the main area is done, it’s time to do a couple of funky cuts. Making sure that all the lines line up and keeping the pattern all the same. Bit of sharp mix. Slurry the back. it in there. 10 mil either side. And the job’s a gooden. The little ones do take a little bit of time. The old marking and cutting. And then for the main feature, the olive tree. I’m going to do a whole video on this cuz it looks sick. I’ve cut out a square for now. Get your center. Put a screw in. Then you got your string line to make a nice circle. Oh yeah, lovely jumbly. Stay tuned for that one tomorrow. And that was us for the day. Brick work got done. We haven’t pointed up the bricks yet cuz I want to match up the color. So I got to do a couple of samples for that. Quite a lot of paving got sorted out, which is looking nice and creamy. Those two slabs haven’t been laid before anyone kicks off and goes, “That’s a bit loud, mate.” But yeah, let us know what you think in the comments on this job. Stay tuned for the progression, brother.

£105.600 wot a job
I use mandarin stone very good quality from them.
How do they tumble a slab that size with out it breaking?
Shouldn’t there be some drainage like shingle or something by the bay wall to stop damp?
It’s a oity the paving is higher than the wall vent
