New house. The one on the right appeared the day after we moved in, then the connecting one on the left appeared overnight!

Fox dens usually have two holes. One on the right for entry/exit, smaller on the left for ventilation. The den itself will have different sections for food storage and sleep.

Looks like rats. Theyโ€™re always around especially if you regularly feed the birds and if you have night wildlife cameras, you actually see them.
I keep on top of mine regularly when the holes appear, by putting strong rat poison down the holes and covering them so that other wildlife like Hedgehogs ๐Ÿฆ” donโ€™t get to it.
If you leave it, they multiply quickly and youโ€™ll become infested unfortunately. Hope that helps.

My money is on Ratty & Co.
Looks like my garden and I definitely see them

I have holes like this in my garden. I feed a mum fox and her now grown up cub. This is how they repay me ๐Ÿ™

Foxes will dig up your garden just for laughs. Being a London gardener they have become a nemesis of mine. Also rats can dig little holes as well, both annoying.

Foxes have been doing the same in my garden

Keep an eye on them-if they are dead-end holes it doesn’t matter. But if they do go somewhere and more gradually start to appear in the same area,it could well be a rat warren.

Rat tunnels are usually smaller and more spherical apertured. I would guess foxes or badgers, but donโ€™t know your location for the likelihood of either. Failing that, a heffalump.

I think definitely fox holes, elongated entry. I personally would leave them because I love foxes and have a den in the back garden, itโ€™s so magical seeing little pups playing in the garden.
