Hey I just found this little one like this in my back door. At first I thought maybe its legs are bought on a web or something I slightly blew at it and all the legs were back to normal but came inside for a little then came back out and it was back to this position again. I’ve tried looking it up to see if that’s just a normal thing they do and couldn’t find anything about it. 🤘🧐🖤

Usually don’t like seeing non-native species but I’d rather these be here & there be less ailanthus im
Edit: apparently these have actually expanded their range naturally from Florida where they host on a plant in the same family as TOH natively.

Its my understanding that they don’t feed on any native plants North of Florida. I’ve seen them devouring TOH here in Maryland, Can completely defoliate a smaller tree.
