I bought this home a few years ago, but this year I noticed that the left side has been dying. I tried to gently excavate with a brush and noticed some girdling roots. The left fork is mostly yellowing, the right has just barely started to yellow. I'm trying to get as many opinions as I can about what to do here. Should I make a V notch in the left root and just wait a season? If so where exactly? Open to any suggestions. Thanks.
