so I bought this plant (Thai Constellation) like 3-4 weeks ago. I water it like 2-3 times a week. I did put fertilizer like twice since I had the plant. I use LED plant light indirectly on the plant for about 12 hours each day. I use Miracle Gro potting mix for my indoor plants but I see that is having this brown spots on it. I was thinking maybe is the type of soil. For now I have the plant on water with a little hydrogen peroxide. I'm not sure if its okay to leave it like that for days. I saw it on Google that it was good for root rot.

This sounds like an overwatering issue. Watering 2 to 3 times a week is A LOT. You want to wait until at least the top inch of the soil is dry. Personally I wait until my Monstera’s leaves droop every so slightly.
Same thing happened to mine and I don’t think it’s gonna survive 😭 I would say to clean the roots, spray them with hydrogen peroxide and repot, but I don’t think that worked for me too well 😭

I had the same thing happen to one of my leaves when I transplanted it and it was explained to me that the brown was from the stress of the transplant and further leaves should be good? Idk 🤷♀️ my monsteras hate me. The ones I tend to are fine at best. The one I bailed on and banished to my deck to basically die pushed out a new leaf a week later 😂 I think I need to make neglect them more?
that’s root rot. 2-3x/wk is a crazy amount of water. should be once every 2-3wks
Trim brown, get some orchid bark, perlite , and potting mix (soil) , combine and make it very chunky with more bark and perlite. Take plant out pot , look for black, brown or mushy roots, cut them off if u see any, repot into new soil mix, do not water until the next day . Make sure u got multiple drainage holes in bottom of pot .
Going forward when u check to see if it needs water don’t check from the top check from the bottom. Take a tooth pick or a kabob stick and stick it through a drainage hole about an inch if the tooth pick comes out wet, do not water. Oh and prop her up with some support, whether it’s a moss/coir pole, garden stake, bamboo or wooden stake. Just make sure if u use wood as a stake that it’s treated to not rot as it sits in the soil .
Oh and don’t fertilize it so much. That nitrogen will burn roots and cause browning leaves.
Could be root rot, but please check for thrips (small white/yellow/brown-ish bugs on the leaf or stems).
Had mine suspected for overwatering and turned out to be thrips- a little bit late
Too much water. I have a small one in a 6 inch pot that can go a month without water.
Too much watering.
Definitely over watered!! I just did this to mine as well 🙁
Root rot. I bought one on sale that was experiencing root rot due to overwatering. This is exactly what she looked like. I did my best to save her, but alas, she passed on to the great beyond
