How to Get Banesberry in Grow a Garden
Banesberry is a limited-time seed that was added in the Ghoul Garden Update. Unlike other event seeds that you can buy from the Spooky Seeds Stall, this one is unique to a pet. You’ll need to hatch enough Spooky Eggs that you hit the 28% chance of getting a Bone Dog.
The Bone Dog has an ability where it has a 15% chance to dig up a random seed once every 80 seconds. That random seed has a chance of also being the Banesberry seed. Since this is the only way of getting this unique seed, once Spooky Eggs are gone, you won’t be able to get it.
The nice thing about this seed is that it’s a multi-harvest plant. Once you have it, you can keep it in your garden for as long as you like and continue to pick from it to sell. However, you won’t be able to get seeds from Lucky Harvests since this plant isn’t in the Seed Shop.
Typically, when a seed is part of an event and not Sam’s Seed Stall, that means you won’t be able to get it from pets with special abilities. This is a special case where you’ll need the Bone Dog to get it. But, you still won’t be able to get it from other pets that have a habit of creating or duplicating seeds like the Red Fox.
