I just bought this poor soul from Aldi's Discount Death Row today with no idea how to take care of it. I've watched some videos and read some posts and I definitely know I can manage.
It was bone dry when I bought it so I watered it when I got home (it's also horribly root bound so I'll deal with that tomorrow). That's when I noticed that the top has been completely cut off and it was "scabbed" over.
Is it still going to grow? Will this affect its health at all? I don't care if it grows, I just don't want it to die. I just want to keep it happy so I figured I'd ask the experts.
