Maybe plant the seeds deeper next time. Make sure you have enough light too

I have the same issue with some F1 pepper I started on 28 Sep. I just moved it to a protein powder container and a 3″ net pot with nutrient solution earlier today. I think it’s a part of it being shallow. I may try tearing the rockwool down the middle when I put the seeds in. I had way better directional growth when using cotton balls. I will probably go back to that but I don’t want to do too many fruiting plants through the winter here in the PNW. 🤷♂️ I’ll update you in a week or so on how this one is doing if you’d like.
