This is how you plant blueberry in a barrel. Make sure your barrel have a good draining holes. Use lava rock for good drainage. It’s nice and porous in two and the bottom. Blueberries need acidic soil. And my secret to success sand. Use as a play sand or wash sand. Mixing the soil with the sand 100% mix. We use three part soyos and one part sand. It’s blueberry tine. This is my trick to planting in pots. Use the empty pot to make the mold. Fill the soil around the pot. Pack the soil a little bit around to get the air packets out. Now the magic trick. Get the pot out to get the same mold at the size of the plant. Use a starter fertilizer at the bottom and a hole for the root system. If you rebound, pinch the roots a little bit around to make it new ones grow. Same level and ready to go. Magic. In fall they change the color of the leaves. and spring is a pink flowers and summer fruits. We recommend planting two different blueberries varieties near each other. 1. I’ve never planted blueberries but I’m trusting this guys advice on how to do so with my life…

  2. Do I even have a garden? No. Did I watch the whole video anyway? Heck yeah! Inspired me to have some in my pretend/ future garden!

  3. I didn't plan to pot blueberries specifically, but if I had to guess, most of these tips are handy for repotting anything. I can't wait to get my hands on some plants to try again, I kill everything I touch, but so far my new trees having lasted throughout the summer is giving me some hope. I'm going to buy some rocks to try and keep them warm this winter, which I hear is going to be harsh where I live, but the strong start is giving me the motivation to keep going!
