Uh, is this normal? I thought they were spring bloomers. This guy has been going since like May. Took this pic today with my asters. Love that I am constantly surprised by my garden! 🙂

I love the aster that’s growing with it. My coreopsis has been aggressively blooming all season. It sometimes blooms into late summer, so this isn’t that abnormal.

I’ve had a few coreopsis pop up all year.
Not exactly sure why, but I enjoy them nonetheless

  3. It’s probably a first year plant that had ideal conditions to flower its first year. Next year will be even better!

Edit: there’s probably multiple plants at that base and it self seeded a bit.

Mine also popped out a new flower in the last few days and has another bud on the way! I was super surprised. I’m wondering if it’s cooler temps that are making it wanna bloom again?
