I grew up with a standard generic African Violet but I've been branching out to different types and sizes. This one is a trailing semi-miniature type (Rob's Humpty Doo) and I'm not sure about how to judge pot size for them. I have it in a 2" Violet pot and it just started blooming for the first time. I know how to judge for a standard Violet but trailing ones are new for me. Should I change this to a larger pot, or a different type of pot that works better for trailers? Thanks so much for your opinions and experience!

Trailers like wide shallow pots. About 2 inches deep or so. The usual rules for AVs don’t apply to trailers. I’d move to a 4 inch wide pot, but 2 inches deep. I find the Zero Sugar Chobani yogurt containers work well after melting some holes in the bottom of the container; the single serving kind.
