Check out the best concrete guys on Insta: https://www.instagram.com/hummelconcrete/

these guys are concrete Masters and they are about to make the coolest looking outdoor stairs after installing a sturdy framework they position rebar for every step and then it’s time to fill it up with concrete just like it’s typically done but they also fill up these pile holes for stable footing to help avoid any landslides after the pouring they float concrete by smoothening the surface and giving a classical brush finish to add a nice touch they wash off the top layer for an exposed aggregate look and with a blowtorch they burn off sprouting fiber mesh it is beautiful practical and will last a life time

  1. Good to see theyโ€™ve actually given it some roots so that it canโ€™t slide away when the water washes underneath it!

  2. That exposed aggregate step means it would last about 3 years anywhere with freeze/thaw, which based on the deciduous and pine trees this locations has.

  3. Yes really beautiful this oversized concrete stairs in the middle of a fairy garden.
Practical? maybe yes. Beautiful? Nope. ๐Ÿ™‚โ€โ†”๏ธ๐Ÿ™‚โ€โ†”๏ธ๐Ÿ™‚โ€โ†”๏ธ

  4. I follow these guys on Youtube shorts. I believe their name is Hummel Concrete. Theyre located in Canada and this is just one of the few awesome design details they do.

  5. This is def masters. I love the footing idea very cool. But wasnโ€™t it missing rebar that sticks out and connects to the actual pad? Otherwise is it really doing anything? Lastly , see how they use rebar and fibre, thatโ€™s what I do as well thatโ€™s a strong ass pad

  6. I really hate to see content vultures. I just watched the video on Facebook of the actual company that installed these where he gave a breakdown of everything that his company did. So you took the video and just did your own narration over top of it.
