Let them ride. You’d be surprise what pushes through. If they don’t fall off on their own. I normally don’t mess
With them. I do pluck off new growth that is not part of the graft. Also Pere. like it more wet then other cacti. Good luck

I’ve noticed that very small scions tend to dry out pretty fast, and it can be weeks before the rootstock starts sending it water. I would keep them in a humid environment out of direct sun until you notice new growth. This can be done by covering them with an open ziploc bag or glass dome
