Got this Alata a couple months ago at my local nursery. It made a couple of TINY pitchers compared to what it came with, so I added a panel grow light (despite it being in a south facing window) and it seems to be loving it. I've noticed all this extra sap/nectar coming off the pitchers as well as smaller amounts on new leafs. Is this a sign of needing anything? I feed it flies or anything else in the house, and supplemented with a flake of fish food once.

Nepenthes can have nectar glands all over the plant (extrafloral nectaries) – sometimes new nepenthes owners confuse them for pests or damage because they can look like black spots or bumps.
My N.Glandulifera does the same thing

My Nepenthes also has these, it’s nectar glands secreting sweet liquid. it’s a lure before prey find the pitchers. I’ve tasted it, tastes like pure sugar 🤤
