I've never owned (whatever this is called) before. It seems to love my north facing window in the master bathroom. But why does it weep? Daily, multiple leafs, all day and all night long, teardrops.

Totally normal! It’s called guttation. The plant releases excess water through its leaves, often collecting at the tips. Sometimes it can be a sign that the plant has gotten too much water recently and is letting go of the excess. Make sure to stick your finger in the soil and water it when the soil feels dry about an inch down. Even if you’re not watering too often, the plant can still do this. You have a heart leaf philodendron, beautiful and easy going.
