My cosmos got so tall as they always do, they decided to fall over under their own weight, snap their stems, then KEEP BLOOMING using the little bit of stem still attached. The stems are healing now while the flowers are all laying on the ground and bees are still visiting them. Ridiculous plants.
Next year I’m doing only sulphur cosmos because those managed to stay at a reasonable size, the “dwarf” ones still get 6+ feet.

Same. I’m finally realizing July and August are my barren season here in Virginia. My garden is in its glory!!
