The One-Night-Only Dinner Will Feature a Four-Course Seasonal Menu From Chef Kara Vorabutr

Restaurant Alta Adams will host a one-night-only garden party takeover on Oct. 4, when Bistro Blue takes over the restaurant’s garden patio with a four-course menu. Bistro Blue’s fresh and delicious dishes just have to be experienced. You can make your reservations on Resy.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. and offers guests the opportunity to experience a range of Bistro Blue’s seasonal dishes in an al fresco setting. Valet parking will be available for $10, with cash preferred.

The menu includes marinated tomato with blood orange vinegar, soy sauce, shiitake oil and fennel pollen; smoked duck terrine with riesling jam and watercress; braised beef cheek served with bordelaise sauce, parsnip purée and parsley; and stuffed figs with mascarpone labne cream, pistachio and honey.

Alta Adams, located on Adams Boulevard, is known for its modern California cuisine and frequent collaborations with guest chefs and restaurants. The Bistro Blue takeover continues that tradition by bringing a fresh perspective to the restaurant’s garden patio space for one evening only.

Bistro Blue, a pop-up by the chef Kara Vorabutr, is known for its residency at La Fe Bar in Echo Park, and its collaboration with Nyletta Nyletta, which yielded a freshly made corn milk mascarpone cruller topped with caviar for an unbelievably rich treat at the French cruller pop-up at Platform in Culver City.
