I’ve been watching it grow for about a month now. I thought it would be a zucchini but now it’s so rotund! I’m not sure when I should pick it?

Pumpkin or some similar squash, likely. Let it keep growing.

Squash or zucchini. We had some very strangely shaped zucchini one year.

Could it be a marrow? They look like giant courgettes (zucchini).

Reminder that squash can hybridize with wild plants and in doing so pick up traits that make them bitter and potentially harmful.

It looks like some Frankenstein zucchini/pumpkin hybrid.

Or just a pumpkin that’s not ripe yet?

Must be a pumpkin that isn’t orange yet, right? Nice inheritance!
