My Japanese garden

Good morning. I’m David and I’m going to show you a Japanese garden that I built recently. I tried to use materials that were being thrown away to save on cost and I think I’ve achieved something that’s quite uh quite good here. The wooden posts were actually uh discarded timber and the roof you can see is acrylic. It’s made from acrylic sheets that I got out of a skippable factory actually. Uh the pond was um something that I had previously and I just decided to fix it up with a bit of fiberglass. Uh but this is my little treasure here. this little tipping water uh pool. I built that myself from timber that sorry from bamboo that I bought on eBay. It’s quite good. It’s solar powered actually and so is the fountain. Uh I bought these little Japanese maples. They’re from a supermarket locally. And these ferns too. these um ferns. So, what do they call them? Phoenix ponds. And look, I built this little box from a drawer, bird box. I put a small aperture in there because I want to attract finches to this little garden. Well, please leave comments and I’m trying to always trying to improve this. So, if you can tell me how to make it better, please let me know. Please subscribe to my channel. I’d be interested to hear from you. I haven’t done many videos yet, but I want to do more. Oh, and by the way, if you want to know how to make this little tipper thing, then I’ll be happy to tell you that, too. I might even do a video on that. That’s not too hard. Okay, take care. See you soon.

  1. Looks good! Sheet moss or smooth pebbles over the pond liner would look better. You can put rug felt or other heavy felt over the liner so stones dont damage it. Moss will grow on that also.
    I like the structure.
Where did you find the roof material? Was it free?
