They’re approximately 2 weeks old, a decent amount of roots but haven’t grown much more than this. I’ve added a half cap full of seaweed fertilizer to 1.75 liter set up.

I usually use the nutrients I buy from Amazon, it’s a A&B type thing first time trying with this seaweed. Should I start over or will they recover?

Sorry for the debris, I have 2 dogs and 2 cats 😭

Hmm I am no expert but that sounds like a lot of fertiliser given how young the plants were just a few weeks ago anyway.

That is of course also depending on the dose recommendation on the fertiliser bottle but if half a cup for 1,75 is the default dose then it assumes grown plants and not babies like in this case

For example I successfully used one cap of fertiliser that was meant for 1,5 litres but my tank was at 5-6 litres so it was seemingly perfect for my younglings.

This is btw my result after around 3 weeks so I somehow must’ve not over or underfed them lol

I don’t think you should be using seaweed fertilizer in this system. You need a complete hydroponic fertilizer

Plain water until 2/3 TRUE leafs, not seedling.

At 2nd or 3rd leaf – go to 1/4 to 1/2 strength. A $20 EC meter is worth its weight in gold.

Once it is “established” go full strength.

Nutes too soon will actually slow the growth despite thinking feedinf will help. Also, get your light like 1″ away from the canopy. You WILL NOT burn the plant until its touching. Human eyes are awful at judging light intensity. Get a free phone app and check light yourself and be amazed. The difference between 1″ and 4″ gaps is insane.

Id check photon or “ppfd meter” for free light apps.

I thought they were floating in old CDs at first.
