  1. Horsegrapes

Small cultivar of Clematis. Hard to say which specifically.

Amazing to see the botanical diversity in the comments! I’ll make a fifth guess, based on the big anthers – delphinium or larkspur

These look like African violets to me. None too tasty

Hunky Dory Blue Delphinium. We usually see them in a stalk but this is how they look when you separate each blooms.

Im not sure why this is added along with clematis when they’re poisonous. Guess guests on this event are having a keepsake to remember- digestive issues 😂

Delphinium, Dahlia and Clematis. None are safe to eat.

100% sure those are delphiniums and are famously toxic, even in very small amounts. This has to be rage bait.

Is it safe to stick non-edible plants into food?

They look like larkspur, aka “cow poison”. Not a good decoration for a cake.

  9. What about the icing? Does it look ridiculously skimpy to anyone else? Like they only put on a crumb layer, not a top layer.

Not, admittedly, as bad as killing clients with flowers

Lololol oh shit….I’m a floral designer and I’ve definitely put delphinium on cakes (plus I touch this flower like 10000 times a week) – did not know it was toxic. Never killed anyone to my knowledge.

It looks like campanula (bellflowers) to me personally, and that is an edible flower if that happens to be what it is.

As a florist never ever put flower shop or bought flowers stuck in a cake only use fgod edible ones or fake with Saran Wrap on the stems this is just plain ignorance

Are we gonna talk about the fact that those flowers are 100% purple not blue!
