Penketh and Sankey Gardening Society is meeting on Thursday, October 2, to hear about these hardy, colourful plants, ideal for container growing.
The gathering takes place at the Olive Tree, Chapel Road, Penketh at 7pm.
Entry is £2 for members and £5 for visitors, including light refreshments.
Annual membership is £15.
The society promises a “warm welcome” to all attendees.
