I bought this plant on September 4th, it was doing great until 4 days ago, when it started drying up. I've been watering it whenever the soil was dry and I didn't put it in direct sun, I'm so confused.

You need to keep the soil moist at all times, if they sense any dryness they will start wilting. I keep a dish under the vase and fill it with water every two days so my mimosa won’t dry out.

Those are difficult plants in my experience. Have you gone through the basics of care instructions? Higher humidity, wet but not soggy, acidic well draining soil. And good amount of light.
Not sure if rain water or distilled water is necessary but seems like the sort of plant that maybe doesn’t like tap water? (Random guess)

Looking to read other comments cause I’m no expert. Killed this plant (unintentionally of course).
