Chop above or below the lower branch?

    This is a ficus audrey, not a fiddle fig (ficus lyrata). It looks happy and is budding, why would you like to chop?

    I would chop just above the lower branch

    I’d chop 3-4 inches below last leaf. Prop both tops in water & the trunk will grow a new beautiful plant.

    I would chop it twice, down from the top to the leaves, then again down the trunk. You would have 3 about the same size
