I dug up this grassy corner to make this little flower garden at the beginning of this summer. It is so I can start to build up the native plants at my house. This is first my aster ever and it finally bloomed. It’s so beautiful!!

NICE. Was it fairly large to begin with? If not, that’s a lot of seasonal growth. Also, what kind is it?
