I found the most beautiful Squamiferum the other day – I didn’t even know her name, but it was love at first sight!! (Plant tax included in the last pic!)
While looking through the babies, I found one plant tucked in the back that was so different. Obviously she has entirely different leaf shape and growing pattern, but has the same super fuzzy, red petioles of the Squamiferum… I didn’t grab her because I am trying so hard (and failing repeatedly) to not bring more plants into my care with an upcoming move, but I can’t stop thinking about her.
I have tried to look her up, but with so many varieties I am not having any luck…
Does anyone know what cultivar this philo is??

It’s a squamiferum that is still maturing
This is the result of too much shooting hormone in tissue culture. A bunch of smaller growth rather than apical dominance.
