Hello, I wanted to see if the community could help identify the flowers that are tattoo on my gf's arm. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance!

  1. First picture looks like cherry blossoms to me. The second photo is something tropical like a plumeria or hibiscus.

Might be hard to obtain this time of year, these sorts of flowers bloom more so in spring or summer

  3. Unusual-Ad-6550

Definitely some fruit tree blossoms so impossible to get a bouquet

Someone mentioned lilies. If she has a cat, do not get her any lilies. They are super fatal to cats

  5. Malsperanza

The top are fruit tree blossoms for sure. Hard to find at this time of year. Same with the sunflower. And I agree that the 2nd picture may have plumeria in it or maybe phlox.

Why not look for some really well-made silk flowers? There are some that are incredibly accurate.

  6. CanAhJustSay

I’d guess apple blossom for the first, and magnolia for the second.

Given that at least some of them are fruit tree blossoms, one option would be to find someone who does paper or wood flowers! They’ll last forever and you’ll be able to gift flowers you wouldn’t be able to find through a florist.

  8. I think that’s a sweet gift. Good luck for your future with her.

Why not just ask her? “Hey those flowers in your tattoo are so pretty. What kind are they?” This will take the guess work out of it and ensure you get the correct kind

I was thinking hibiscus but y’all are probably right.

If you can’t find fresh flowers, since they’re not in season, maybe you can find someone who can craft a paper flower bouquet!

Second one looks like jasmine to me. One of my favorites!

  13. AdMinute386

I have no input on the type of flowers but wanted to commend you on being so thoughtful as to try to surprise her with the right flowers 💕 incredibly sweet!

    Looks like apple blossoms/cherry blossoms.

All in the Rose family. Maybe if you can find some more wild rose variety?

Cherry/apple blossom and frangipani or jasmine
