My first terrarium, still waiting for some pine moss and clean up crew.
I already put in bacteria starter, both in drainage layer and the water itself. Thing is the fish food i put in the water for nitrate source have transparent, spiky hair, is it mold? (instead of being degraded by bacteria) (~1 week in the cycle)

Im thinking of putting in a few fish or shrimp in to accelerate the cycle. Would 6 pygmy cory or 15 cherry shrimp do?

The final count and the order of the fish added would be something like :
1st week
15 shrimp or 6 pygmy corydoras
5~10 small freshwater clams/mussel (looks like Pilsbryoconcha exilis)

2nd week
6 rasbora briggitae
15 shrimp or 6 pygmy corydoras
5 ramshorn or 2 rabbit or 5 nerrite snails

next month
3 kuhli loaches or 2 hillstream loaches

is this too much fish to add at those timelines and/or too much fish for the given space?

I think this is too small for all the fish you want. I would only put shrimp and snails in there.
