The native fall garden in eastern North America is so beautiful! Many blooming plants on top of fall foliage.
You should add goldenrod; the “fireworks” cultivar is my favorite.

Beautiful! My Georgia asters, planted in the spring, are covered in buds. They’re supposed to be the most colorful of all the asters. Can. Not. Wait.

Those asters clumps are so awesome – i know a huge part of this hobby is creating natural environments and they’re usually more sparse out in nature but I love how they look in tight bunches like that – shows clear design intent and is true gardening not just restoration. Easy for the bees to find as well!
