Chef Pierre Koffmann to visit New Covent Garden Market

Visitors to New Covent Garden Market on September 25 and the early hours of September 26 will have the opportunity to meet chef Pierre Koffmann, as The Food Heroes brings its food trucks to the UK’s wholesale market.

Koffmann will be at the market between 2 pm and 4 pm, where The Food Heroes will sample and showcase products distributed by Premier Foods Wholesale (PFW). The company works with chefs, including Koffmann and Marco Pierre White, to introduce produce from British growers to the foodservice sector. It supplies the Koffmann’s and Marco Pierre White Retro brands of potatoes, as well as a range of vegetable products.

The food trucks, which have been used at summer festivals across the country, will be located outside PFW’s units between 2 pm and 4 pm on Thursday and again from 10 pm until 2 am the following morning. Market visitors will also be able to sample food from Ginger Wings and drinks from the Les Vergers Boiron range.
