Got this snake plant and have it on my bathroom without any sunlight.
It was already dying so I decided to put it outside for some sun. It rained as well, and it looks even worse.
Does it need more water, less water, more sunlight, less sunlight? Is it the pot itself? I water it once a week.

*spider plant, whoops
Does that planter have drainage holes?
I almost guarantee it’s drowning in that pot , with no drainage
It needs light. Consistent light, not just a day or two outside here and there.
I think that pot is also probably too small for a spider plant, but I don’t own any so I’m not sure how big their roots get.
Spider plant, repot in a better pot with drainage holes, it’s being crushed by the small planter, go up at least one size in the new pot, give it good access to sunlight, after a week or so try giving it some miracle grow, the plant sticks work great.
Plants, like people, need time to adjust to sun exposure. You can’t just take a pale plant and throw it into full sun. It’s gonna get sunburn from not having any time to acclimate.
Yeah gonna go with it needs light
too much water, not enough consistent light. put it some where with enough light for 8 hours, but not in a place that gets hot.
the planter is fine, i have the same- it has a big enough hole. spider plants have shallow roots anyway, so itll be fine for a while. but will be a bitch to replant. in the future, keep in the nursery pots and use planters as cachepots.
