The planning application, submitted by Glasgow City Council, seeks to change the use of the little structure at 730A Great Western Road.
Currently empty, the site was previously an on-site garden manager’s accommodation.
But if the bid is successful, it will be used as an office building.
The transformation would require minor alterations to the listed building.

There are four public comments relating to the proposal, all of which are objections.
One of them is from Hillhead Community Council, who said: “We strongly object to the commercialisation of the buildings in this public garden.
“The B-listed building is both in a very prominent position in the garden, besides the main entrance and is a usable residence.
“The fact that it is no longer required by the director of the Botanic Gardens does not mean that it could not be rented to another employee or be required in the future.”
Glasgow City Council officials are evaluating the application and a decision is expected by Friday, October 17.
