How to Get a Frostspike in Grow a Garden
The Frostspike is a seed that’s exclusive to the Frozen Ice King event. We first saw it multiple times during the lead-up to the Fall Update expansion. However, we can’t confirm if this is an admin-only event. But if it is, that means you’ll only be able to get the Frostspike when the developers trigger the event.
That unfortunately means this isn’t a seed that you can buy from a shop or even get from a seed pack. You’ll instead need to participate in the Frozen Ice King event when it happens. During this event, you’ll have to sacrifice five Divine or Prismatic crops at altars. You’ll find them near the Gear Stall side of the island.
Once you’ve placed all five crops, the Ice King will no longer be frozen and will reward you with a Frostspike seed. During this event, fruit in your garden also have a chance to get the Subzero Mutation.
While this seed isn’t an easy one to get, it is at least a multi-harvest plant. Once you have it, you can keep it in your garden for as long as you like and continue to pick from it to sell. However, you likely won’t be able to get seeds from Lucky Harvests since this plant isn’t in the Seed Shop.
