As a matter of fact, these are actually relatives of the eucalyptus tree. It’s commonly known for its “unconventional” appearance due to its leaves growing from the trunk, rather than from the branches (Since there are none). In addition, as a kid, I remember telling my folks one day that I cannot wait to grow up and live the dream of wasting people’s time by reading my made up comments on random posts; and today is that day…

Not a botched job. Must be somewhere in Cali. Euc’s are considered invasive. If they die fine but they won’t. They will not have to come back to these trees for 7-10 yrs with this trim. Saving money.

I really hope one day, when state officials aren’t preoccupied trying to stop a federal fascist coup, they can turn some attention to removing these invasive weeds and replacing them with coast live oaks and other native, drought- resistant trees.
