Let wound dry, push plant into soil, water and forget it. It’ll root eventually.

Let the branch sit for 2-4 days until you notice the bottom is completely dry and healed. Plop it into a cup of water and wait for roots to grow. You may have to change the water a few times throughout until the roots grow, but it has always worked for me and once it grows roots I put it back in the pot! I get scared about just sticking the whole thing back into the pot because I like the visual of seeing roots be present before I do that.

Make the cut clean and it’ll sprout. Jam the cut branch in the soil and it’ll root. Dracaena are hard to kill.
