Noticed a tree in my backyard oozing black and growing weird spikes/nubs all over it. It’s a sugarberry tree. by shugarcube #arboricultureArborists 6 Comments RawChickenButt 8 months ago Bone cancer Snooobjection3453 8 months ago Looks like a horned toad! You won’t climb that tree. Anomonouse 8 months ago Warts are normal on sugarberry. Black is from a wound, probably the wound is oozing sap and a mold is eating the sap after the sap has left the tree. Looks like you’ve got some poison ivy there too Perle1234 8 months ago Yes it’s been infected with sharkitis. Sorry, it’s fatal. I am not an arborist.
