My flf used to be so happy, so happy that she gave me a new branch first try on a notch. About 4 months ago, she started dropping 1 leaf per week after i notched her. I checked her roots, repotted her, and then shes dropping leaves like crazy (which was expected). I cleaned her leaves off with Leaf Shine by Miracle Grow. Ever since then, she has not stopped dropping leaves. I repotted her 3 months ago, i only went up by a inch and half. Shes dropping 4+ leaves per week. I have cut off 3 branches cause they are just sticks now. I dont understand what is happening. The leafs start to turn yellow, then brown on the edges and brown spots in the middle of the leaves, i water her just fine also. PLLLEEEAAASEEE HELLPPP

Too much water?
How much light is she getting? The browning and leaf dropping sound like too much direct sunlight.
Have you moved her recently? That also tends to cause leaf drop.
How’s the drainage after you water?
Check your root ball.
that’s usually from bumping into things, these things are notoriously dramatic.
HOWEVER since you mentioned leaf shine, it’s probably that. leaf shine products are bad for plants as it leaves behind residue that clogs pores and interferes with photosynthesis.
stop use immediately and clean off the leaves with some basic mild soap and water.
My friend LITERALLY just showed me a pic of her resurrected FLF. Depending on where you live, can you not only stop worth the leaf shine but possibly put it outside until it gets cold to see if you can save it?

How often do you water it？ls there a saucer beneath the pot？
Now l suggest chopping all branches off..just keep a stump at 1.5-2 ft tall..lt’ll bud again in several weeks+..
And do it asap..Winter is coming soon..

..also suggest putting it on a plant stand/stool/table..etc., let it get more sunlight..and UV can sterilise the soil..
In the future,if you want more branches,a thicker trunk and keep its height(your ideal height)..you just “always” pluck terminal buds(or new growths)off..more buds(become branches) will grow along the trunk..trunk will grow thicker and thicker…..
