So I've had this for about six months. It finally bloomed, but the whole thing was awkward because I did not have the light right. I noticed today that the roots have been growing down the yarn into the wick water reservoir. I still have blooms yet to come.

I find this is all normal with wick watering. Since you have a small pot for a Standard it happen sooner. Im watering today and found some on my pots. I just rip out the roots as I have to delay my repotting and find time for it. You can leave it but Im sure it will draw lots of water it can take and can cause leaves tear. Ask me how I know😅. Repotting is the next step. Disclaimer: Im no expert this is just from my observation😊
A small pot will outgrow by big Standard in just 6 months. We all learn from it. Enjoy your blooms!Happy growing!🤗
