Checked on my gigantic lithops today and was SHOCKED to see this little thing peeking out. I’m new to lithops and their care and am wondering if it’s a flower? It doesn’t look like it’s splitting. (If this is a flower I’m gonna pee myself!!) Should I water it? I haven’t watered since bringing them inside under the grow light for winter a couple weeks ago. I just got these 9/4 via Amazon. (And yes they were bloated when I got them but I didn’t know that. Good folks here gave me tons of advice. So grateful for that.)

    Yes, a flower.

It doesn’t look thirsty, but during flowering isa time when it’s ok to water. My priority would be getting it into a proper soil mix (80+ % inorganic), so that when it does look thirsty, you will be set to soak it without fear of rot.

A beautiful flower. But change now, some plants may abort flowering in case of stress. Enjoy it a lot..
