Master Gardeners to Host Wildflower Program
The Bowie County Master Gardeners have teamed up again with Texas A&M University–Texarkana’s School of Professional Education and Community Engagement to offer this free program called “Wildflowers for the Four States Area.”
Event Details
The program is free and open to the public. No reservations are needed, and it will take place on Monday, October 13, at 6 PM in Room 326 of the University Building.

Featured Speaker Jay Caddel
The guest speaker, Jay Caddel, is the home horticulture agent with the Tarrant County AgriLife Extension. Caddel has years of experience with native plants and landscaping in our area and he previously worked at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin, Texas.
What to Expect at “Wildflowers for the Four States Area” Program
You will learn practical ways to incorporate native wildflowers and other native species into your own landscape and will make your yard more beautiful, easier to care for, and beneficial for local wildlife. That is a win-win for everyone!
